cincinnati zoo blooms

For Christmas this past year, my brother Jacob, gave us a zoo membership.
And we've used it a lot.
It's been rad to be the only ones there in the winter.
And to watch animals come back to their exhibits after the cold is gone.
It's also been fun to see the zoo blooms.
In the spring, Cincinnati zoo is one giant tulip bed.
Seriously.
There are tons of tulips everywhere.
And for this gal who didn't know or expect it...it was a lot of fun to see after the harsh winter thawed.

It's also meant MILLIONS of photos for this mama (and every other mama there). We're all lining our kids up for pictures with the flowers.
I'm in love with some of the outtakes.

 Ha!
Some of our best adventures happen when we stumble upon beauty.
Add in a really fun playground and we're set.

Zoo members are able to get into the zoo an hour earlier than non-members.
This is a major benefit because our lonely, quiet zoo where the kids were able to have wild rumpus after wild rumpus has been packed lately.
That early entry gives us time to roam free and wild for a bit.
And take even more pics with the flowers because you know.
