homemade pumpkin pie playdough

I know this is my third post today, but I thought I'd put this up because we just made this, it's a hit, and I'm pretty sure it's still going to be a hit tomorrow when we head to grandma and grandpa's house for Thanksgiving dinner.
If you have littles, consider whipping this up in approx. 10 minutes to save your sanity this holiday weekend.
Tip: Get your water boiling (1 cup) while you dig out an apron for your helper and locate all the ingredients.

 Mix together 1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 cup boiling water
Food coloring (we used red and yellow)
Heaps of pumpkin pie mix (find it in the spice aisle)

Take a quick peek-a-boo break while it's mixing.

Pour the dough onto a floured counter top. Be careful it may still be very hot. Knead the extra flour into the dough.

Done and it's got this house smelling of fresh baked pies!
Store in a zippered sandwich bag in the fridge for a couple of days.
